Recoil of Simplicity

The four of us were in tremendously high spirits as finally the concert were over hence now able to let loose for a short getaway to Malacca.

Crazily might it sound as on the concert day itself , we're already been shagged out by waking up / reaching ICA early for the final preparation etc. & for your info, the concert ended around 10+pm ... Thereafter a quick dash back home for washup & here we are .. hitting the road straight to 2nd Link & towards Malacca. Actually it's quite a fast ETA Malacca though we reached 2nd Link around 12+am. We arrived Malacca around 3+am.. hmm .. maybe gotta see who's driver pah ~!! ... yeah ~! it's me ~!! hahaha.. .. James took over when we reached Malacca.

As this just a short & last min trip, we didn't book any room as we "thought" able to get rooms upon arrival Malacca .. .Dude ~!!... "WE ARE ALL WRONG~!!" Firstly , we couldn't find the way to that particular motel which we intended to stay over. Secondly, we were amazed by the language used by the roadsite construction worker when we approached him for directions. Of cos , it's supposed to sound mandarin "You straight straight , "POR" to the end ... then you "POR" left go straight & "POR" here & "POR" there etc .. "

The weary foursome aroused with the perplexing looks by his "POR" here & there stuff. Jameson thanked the guy & moved off , turning to us asking "hey .. he just now said turn left or right here ah ?? .. All replied , "donno ah ! .. what we heard is only "POR" here , "POR" there ..but donno where we actually supposed to "POR" to !! " .. we all busted into laughters. Boy that really helped keeping us awake again after that "POR" here & there incident.

We finally managed to locate the motel which we have been searching ,however due to school holiday season .. all motels ard that area were fully taken thus left us with not much choice but to stay in "HOTEL CERATO" ... yes .. it's the white hotel with 4 wheels which bought us to Malacca .. ...Damn malu & pom jack man .. As a S'porean travellin oversea ended up sleeping in own car & furthermore using local petrol kiosk's toilet for the washup the following morning. Haha .... now we are really experiencing backpackers way of travelling.
